As a Design Engineer-DFMEA at AGCO, your role involves contributing to risk analysis activities, including Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), for New Product Introduction (NPI) and Current Product Management (CPM) programs. You will be responsible for: - Performing functional analysis of tractor components and systems to ensure design integrity and product safety objectives are met. - Actively participating in Design FMEA workshops by providing technical inputs, analysis, and recommendations. - Supporting the development, application, and continuous improvement of tools, templates, and processes related to product safety and risk management. - Contributing to meeting Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) objectives for NPI and current products. - Communicating effectively within the immediate team, across the Engineering department, and with other AGCO sites as required. - Providing technical inputs and analysis for risk analysis activities for new product designs. - Supporting the tracking and closure of action items resulting from Design FMEA assessments. - Assisting in knowledge sharing and providing technical guidance to Engineering teams on risk analysis methodologies. - Maintaining and updating assigned sections of KPI dashboards to support monitoring and reporting of risk analysis performance. Your qualifications and experience should include: - Bachelors / Masters degree in General Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Quality Management. - Minimum of 4 to 5 years of professional experience in risk analysis, including Functional Analysis and Design FMEA. - Preferably within the automotive industry. - Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
