About the role
As a Manager - Product Manager in the Card Acquiring: BIN Sponsorship Business, your role will involve supporting and expanding the portfolio with a strong focus on product ownership, hands-on execution, and managing complex partner integrations, regulatory alignment, and cross-functional coordination. Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end product onboarding of 3-4 new Payment Aggregator (PA) partners per year. - Lead integration, UAT, certification, and setup of payment flows & technical configuration. - Ensure scheme alignment (Visa/Mastercard/RuPay) and adherence to dispute, chargeback, and compliance rules. - Define/validate reconciliation and settlement frameworks and manage offline terminal configuration. - Provide continuous partner support until go-live readiness. - Drive feature upgrades (new payment modes, authentication, tokenization, DCC, MCC, etc.). - Identify and deliver enhancements to improve conversion, uptime, or transaction success rates. - Work with PA partners to close product gaps and prioritize roadmap items. - Build the product roadmap for Domestic/International BIN Sponsorship models. - Conduct market research on cross-border acquiring trends, pricing, and compliance requirements. - Secure internal approvals (Risk, Legal, Compliance). - Design international acceptance frameworks, user flows, and commercial constructs. - Liaise with card networks for validations and scheme certifications. - Collaborate with Technology, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams. - Work with Visa/Mastercard/RuPay for scheme updates and partner enablement. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): 1. Partner Onboarding & Go-Live Delivery - Number of PA partners onboard vs. target. - Onboarding cycle time. - Successful completion of certifications and UAT. 2. Product Stability & Performance - Improvement in transaction success rates. - Uptime/availability metrics. - Reduction in defects and reconciliation mismatches. 3. Feature & Roadmap Execution - Delivery of planned product enhancements. - Adoption of new features by partners. - Time-to-market for enhancements. 4. BIN Sponsorship International Expansion - Completion of feasibility, approvals, and product design milestones. - International enablement and certifications completed on time. - Go-live of international acquiring capability. 5. Compliance, Audit & Regulatory Adherence - Zero major non-compliances. - Timely regulatory reporting and documentation. 6. Stakeholder & Partner Satisfaction - Internal stakeholder satisfaction levels. - External partner feedback and reduction in escalations. 7. Commercial & Business Impact - Contribution to incremental TPV (Total Payment Volume) through new partners and features. - Impact on revenue, interchange, or MDR through product initiatives. - Improvement in cost efficiencies via process or product optimization.
