Safety Data Analyst AGS

As a Safety Data Analyst Specialist at Alcon's Medical Safety team in Bangalore, India, your role will involve providing safety data analysis support to the Global Medical Safety team. You will be responsible for optimizing systems and tools for signal detection and evaluation, quantitative benefit-risk assessment, and other safety activities. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a technical data expert for Global Medical Safety - Provide analytic outputs for risk assessments, safety reporting, and signal detection - Mandatory proficiency in Tableau, Cognos, SQL Database, Oracle database, and Business intelligence tools - Drive innovation by facilitating initiatives and implementing optimal solutions in collaboration with stakeholders - Liaise within Global Medical Safety and other functions to provide training and support for continuous improvement of quantitative safety methods and tools - Stay updated with new technology and methods in data analysis to maintain technical competence - Maintain knowledge of existing data sources relevant for addressing the safety of Alcon products - Provide support for internal audits, regulatory authority inspections, and project/product recall as required Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field - Professional experience of at least 5 years in Data Analytics - Proficiency in Tableau, Cognos, SQL Database, Oracle database, and Business intelligence tools - Experience in Data Management, Data Mapping, Data Pipeline, and Building process Shift Timings: 12PM to 9PM with slight flexibility As an Equal Opportunity Employer, Alcon maintains a diverse environment and does not discriminate in recruitment, hiring, training, promotion, or other employment practices based on various factors.
