Backend Developer

As a software engineer at AlgoSec, your role will involve analyzing, designing, and developing new complex backend features, as well as redesigning bottlenecks for scale and maintaining backend services. You will be responsible for participating in feature development from the requirement definition stage to the final deliverable. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze, design, and develop new complex backend features - Redesign bottlenecks for scale and maintain backend services - Take part in feature development from requirement definition to final deliverable Qualifications Required: - B.Sc. in Computer Sciences/Engineering from a known university - Over 5 years of experience in software development - Experience in Linux/UNIX environments - Experience in Java and server-side software development - Experience with Spring, Hibernate - Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) - good to have - Good understanding of Prompt Engineering principals - Proven ability to effectively use AI chatbot tools for tasks such as test scenario creation, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization - Experience working with AI-powered coding assistants within development environments - Proven ability to effectively use/develop AI Agents - Proven ability to effectively use/develop/configure MCPs - Proven ability to effectively use/develop skills - Team player, pleasant person to work with, high level of integrity - Very bright, fast learner, independent, and organized - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Advantages: - Experience with Pearl, C - Experience in networking, routing protocols, firewalls - Experience with developing MCPs - Experience with transforming non-agentic system/SDLC into agentic system/SDLC - Experience with RAG pipelines and semantic search (vector databases) AlgoSec is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO), committed to creating a friendly, diverse, and inclusive company culture.
