Java Developer

As an experienced Software Developer at AlgoSec, you will play a crucial role in the R&D team, contributing to the new architecture of AlgoSec products and designing complex systems. You will report to the R&D Team Lead and be based in Gurgaon, India. Responsibilities: - The Devices team focuses on integrating and interfacing various networking security products (particularly firewalls and routers) into the AlgoSec unified model by modeling their configuration and topology. This involves working with different vendors' APIs, technologies, and models. - You will be responsible for owning processes end-to-end, handling complex issues, and innovating solutions effectively. Requirements: - B.Sc. in Computer Sciences/Engineering from a reputable university. - 5 years of experience in software development with expertise in server-side development. - Proficiency in Linux/UNIX/Docker environments, Java 11+, Spring framework, and SQL. - Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, GCP is advantageous. - Good understanding of Prompt Engineering principles. - Proven ability to utilize AI chatbot tools like ChatGPT for tasks like test scenario creation, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization. - Experience working with AI-powered coding assistants like GitHub Copilot and Cursor. - Demonstrated ability to effectively use/develop AI Agents and MCPs. - Strong teamwork skills, integrity, quick learner, independence, and organization. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Advantages: - Experience with Pearl programming language. - Proficiency in networking, routing protocols, and firewalls. - Knowledge in developing MCPs and transforming non-agentic system/SDLC into agentic system/SDLC. - Experience with RAG pipelines and semantic search (vector databases).
