Job Title: Cypress Automation Tester Experience: 5 - 8 YearsLocation: Pune (Hybrid)Client: VodafoneEmployment Type: On ALIQAN Payroll (C2H / Long-Term Contract) Role Overview: Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement automated test scripts using Cypress and JavaScript. - Perform API automation testing to validate backend functionality and integration. - Develop and maintain BDD test scenarios using Cucumber. - Collaborate closely with developers, QA, and business analysts to define test strategies and ensure quality coverage. - Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and defect triage meetings. - Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous test improvement initiatives. Must-Have Skills: - Cypress - Solid hands-on experience in UI automation. - JavaScript - Advanced scripting and debugging skills. - API Automation - Using tools or frameworks such as Postman, REST Assured, or built-in Cypress features. - Cucumber - Experience implementing BDD frameworks. Good-to-Have Skills: - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab. - Familiarity with Git version control.
