About the role
Role Overview: As a motivated and adaptive individual at Alter Domus, you will be responsible for orchestrating and driving the execution of assigned Projects related to Change, Transformation, and Transition initiatives across global delivery locations. Your role will involve facilitating project execution in high-ambiguity environments with evolving stakeholders and requirements, ensuring effective cross-functional communication & coordination between Business Leads, Tech Leads, and diverse stakeholder groups to drive business and technical outcomes. Reporting to the Head of Projects, you will play a crucial role in enabling outcome owners (Business and Tech Leads) to succeed while managing project execution, timelines, resources, and governance for the assigned projects assignments. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate and coordinate execution of assigned projects across Business and Tech workstreams, ensuring integration and alignment - Manage all aspects of project coordination independently from evaluation, planning through to operational steady state and go-live - Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, and milestones across multiple workstreams - Ensure all project deliverables and activities are carried out within the defined scope, schedule, and budget - Continuously discover and map emerging stakeholders, dependencies, and requirements as projects evolve - Bring clarity where expectations and ownership are ambiguous, working with Business and Tech Leads to define accountability - Maintain living stakeholder maps and proactively identify stakeholders that emerge during execution - Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across global delivery locations, cross-functional teams, and leadership - Partner with Business Leads and Tech Leads to enable their success - Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Recruitment, IT, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Control, Facilities across multiple global locations to ensure readiness - Facilitate decision-making by surfacing business decisions to Business Leads, technical decisions to Tech Leads, while making execution decisions independently - Proactively identify and communicate risks, issues, and dependencies throughout project lifecycle - Maintain risk and dependency logs, categorizing by type (business/technical/execution) and impact - Drive escalation of blockers through appropriate governance and escalation tiers - Monitor, evaluate and report progress against success criteria and project milestones - Provide regular updates and status reports to key stakeholders on project progress, issues, risks, and dependencies - Supporting scope discovery as requirements emerge in dynamic environments - Work with Business and Tech Leads to validate and prioritize emerging scope - Highlight scope overlaps, gaps, or conflicts and facilitate resolution - Coordinate go-live readiness validation with Business and Tech Leads - Facilitate "Go/No-Go" decisions by providing execution readiness assessment - Conduct post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement and share lessons learned - Oversee Knowledge Transfer and Capture processes from global high-cost locations to delivery centers - Support generating performance metrics of individual projects using KPIs Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred - External project management certification such as Agile/Scrum, Prince2, Six Sigma, CAPM/PMI or other project management certification - Certification or training in adaptive/agile methodologies highly valued - 8-12 years experience in Financial Services/BPOs/ITES Organizations or similar complex, matrix environments - Minimum 5 plus years of experience in managing projects independently in dynamic, fast-paced environments - Significant experience in global delivery/BPO industry preferably with multi-national/financial service businesses Additional Details: Alter Domus is a world-leading provider of integrated solutions for the alternative investment industry, home to 90% of the top 30 asset managers in the private markets, with more than 6,000 professionals across 24 jurisdictions.
