Senior Development Lead Java (India)

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot. Build secure, high-performance REST APIs and event-driven solutions using Confluent Kafka. Design and optimize PostgreSQL databases and integrate Redis, Azure Storage, and other cloud services. Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure using Docker and Kubernetes. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability. Follow engineering best practices through code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, enterprise-grade solutions and contribute to technical architecture. Required Skills Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot Microservices, REST APIs, Event-Driven Architecture PostgreSQL (MySQL/Oracle is a plus) Confluent Kafka Azure Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes Redis Cache, Azure Storage Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD Strong understanding of system performance, security, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Proven experience leading engineering teams both technically and operationally, including delivery, production support, and stakeholder management. Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 15+ years of experience in Java backend development.
