Application Production Support Analyst

As an Application Production Support Analyst at Ameriprise India LLP, your role will involve providing end-to-end production support for the Insurance and Annuities Application's Distributed systems. Your primary responsibility will be to respond to incidents, identify proactive incident circumvention, support nightly Batch Operations, and work on rotation basis between different shifts, including night shifts. Additionally, you will be required to recommend performance enhancements, provide on-call support, and work towards continuous service improvements by finding automation opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Work as part of the Operations team supporting Distributed applications - Respond to incidents and identify proactive incident circumvention - Support Batch Operations for Distributed systems - Work on rotation basis between shifts, including night shifts as needed - Recommend performance enhancements for applications - Provide on-call support during US workday shifts, including weekends and holidays - Work towards continuous service improvements and find automation opportunities - Open to working across Distributed and Mainframe Technologies as per company needs Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience - 2-4 years of technical experience in areas such as TWS/Tidal/Workload schedulers, SQL Server, Operating Systems, JAVA/.NET/XML, Middleware, APIs, AWS services & ETL frameworks - Experience with ServiceNow and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, & Sumologic) - Experience in Production support, Proactive incident management, and Batch monitoring - Exposure to IT environments governed by ITIL framework - Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Application Development phases Preferred Qualifications: - ITIL certification - AWS Cloud practitioner certification - Insurance and Annuities knowledge - Knowledge of Mainframe/Vantage systems - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent problem-solving skills - Customer service orientation - Experience in operations roles in financial services industry In-Office Collaboration: Ameriprise India LLP values in-person collaboration for achieving results.
