Data Engineer- AI Solutions

Role & responsibilities : MGT is a US-based consulting firm that partners with public sector and education agencies across the United States, while also supporting projects spanning technology, finance, and advisory services. With decades of industry experience, MGT has grown significantly in recent years. The India team operates as a fully remote global delivery and engineering organization, working closely with consultants and technology teams across the US. Design and build scalable data pipelines for AI and analytics workloads. Develop and optimize ETL workflows for structured and unstructured data. Orchestrate and automate data pipelines using Airflow or similar platforms. Integrate data from cloud platforms, APIs, databases, and enterprise systems. Ensure data quality, governance, privacy, security, and pipeline reliability. Collaborate with AI, software, and data engineering teams to deliver production ready solutions. Optimize pipeline performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across cloud environments. Preferred candidate profile : 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related software engineering roles. Strong experience building and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and ETL workflows. Hands-on experience with Airflow or similar workflow orchestration platforms. Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering applications. Experience working with structured and unstructured data across diverse data sources. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architectures. Understanding of data modeling, data integration, and distributed data processing. Knowledge of data quality, monitoring, and production best practices.
