About the role
Develop a batch processing framework to ingest data into HDFS, Hive, and HBase.
Understand requirements from the clients and perform problem analysis and report on findings to learn user needs and feasibility.
Implement map-reduce programs to handle semi/unstructured data like XML, JSON, Avro data files and sequence files for log files.
Work closely with other teams to understand the requirements and technical design and implementing them by leveraging the existing system.
Work on operational issues and develop new features to solve end customer’s issues.
Provide support to the clients using SQL and Base SAS. Developed ICAAP Reports using SAS Web Report Studio.
Develop ETL jobs in SAS Data Integration Studio for regulatory capital calculation using Standardized approach.
Collaborate with data analytical team members to implement required report system to implement data models to categorize variables.
Involve with the investigation and resolution of complex data, system, and software issues in the production environment.
Create automated testing pipelines for various testing strategies including but not limited to UAT, BAT, Regression testing, Unit testing.
Designing and scheduling ETL jobs using Python for reporting, data collection and validation.
Required bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related field.
Location is Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Business travel and / or relocation to unanticipated locations in the U.S. required.
