Japanese Bilingual SAP Consultant (SD/MM/FICO) Position SAP Consultant - Japanese Bilingual (SD / MM / FICO) Experience 5+ to 15+ Years Japanese Language Requirement JLPT N3 or above (N2/N1 preferred) with the ability to communicate confidently with Japanese clients during meetings, workshops, documentation, and project discussions. Employment Type Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Japanese Bilingual SAP Consultant specializing in SAP SD, MM, or FICO modules to support implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects for Japanese clients. The ideal candidate will have strong functional consulting experience, excellent communication skills in Japanese and English, and hands-on experience in SAP implementation projects. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, Japanese customers, project managers, and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities - Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects. - Gather and analyze business requirements from Japanese and global stakeholders. - Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and business process discussions in Japanese and English. - Configure SAP modules (SD/MM/FICO) based on business requirements. - Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications (FS), Process Flow Documents, and user manuals. - Coordinate with ABAP developers and integration teams for custom developments. - Perform system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). - Support data migration, cutover planning, and go-live activities. - Provide post-go-live support and resolve functional issues. - Train end users and prepare training documentation. - Collaborate with offshore and onsite teams across multiple geographies. - Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards. Required Skills SAP Skills - Minimum 5 years of SAP Functional Consulting experience - Expertise in at least one module: - SAP SD - SAP MM - SAP FICO - Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects - Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration is preferred. - Knowledge of SAP integration with other SAP modules. - Strong business process understanding. Japanese Language Skills - JLPT N3 or above - Ability to conduct client meetings in Japanese - Translate business requirements between Japanese and English - Prepare bilingual documentation where required - Excellent verbal and written communication skills Soft Skills - Excellent client-facing communication skills - Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities - Stakeholder management - Team collaboration - Presentation and workshop facilitation skills - Ability to work independently in a multicultural environment Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Commerce, Finance, or a related field. - SAP Certification in SD, MM, or FICO is preferred. - JLPT Certification N3 or above - Experience working with Japanese clients or multinational organizations. - Experience in Agile or Waterfall project methodologies. - Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage. .
