Software Engineer II (Backend)

As a Software Engineer II - Backend at a globally recognized enterprise software organization based in Chennai, India, you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud-native services and infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, building, and maintaining scalable cloud-native services and infrastructure. - Developing automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar tools). - Deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes-based applications. - Building and enhancing CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery. - Implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions. - Improving system reliability, performance, scalability, and operational efficiency. - Collaborating with engineering teams to solve complex technical challenges. - Participating in debugging, incident resolution, and root cause analysis. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications: - Strong programming experience in Java, Python, or Go. - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting). - Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools. - Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and observability tools. - Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture. - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills. - Exposure to cloud cost optimization is a plus.
