QA Engineer - Manual Testing

As a Manual Software Tester at our company, you will be responsible for conducting thorough testing of software applications to ensure functionality meets quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements. - Documenting and tracking defects using issue tracking tools, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and provide feedback on usability, functionality, and performance. - Participating in Agile/Scrum development processes and contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 2+ years of experience in manual software testing, preferably in a web or mobile application environment. - Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. - Experience with creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts. - Familiarity with issue tracking tools such as Jira or Bugzilla; knowledge of one programming language is preferred (e.g., Java, Python). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a detail-oriented mindset for delivering high-quality software products. - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus; ISTQB certification or equivalent is also a plus. In addition, you must have experience in: - API Testing using POSTMAN. - Functional Testing. - Mobile Testing. - Working with Jira and Excel. - Writing functional test cases and documenting bugs in Jira. - Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. - Strong communication skills. - UI testing experience.
