OT Security Engineer

Position: OT Security Engineer Experience: 35 Years Location: Kochi/Chennai/Bengaluru - Hybrid About the Role We are looking for a hands-on OT Security Engineer to join our India Global Capability Centre (GCC), supporting global customers across critical infrastructure, oil & gas, manufacturing, and other industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have experience in Operational Technology (OT), Industrial Control Systems (ICS), SCADA, DCS, and Industrial Cybersecurity environments, with the ability to independently execute cybersecurity projects and support customer engagements. Key Responsibilities Implement, maintain, and support OT cybersecurity solutions in industrial environments.Perform cybersecurity hardening, vulnerability assessments, and security reviews of OT infrastructure and systems.Support implementation, configuration and maintenance of Emerson DeltaV, Nozomi, Fortinet or similar kinds of solutions.Monitor OT security events and assist in incident response and remediation activities.Perform backup validation, recovery testing, and disaster recovery support for critical OT systems.Troubleshoot and resolve OT security, networking, and system-related issues.Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project deliverables. Required Skills 35 years of experience in OT, Industrial Automation, ICS, SCADA, DCS, or Industrial Cybersecurity environments.Experience with Emerson DeltaV, Fortinet, Nozomi solutionsKnowledge of OT backup and recovery solutions, disaster recovery procedures, and recovery testing.Experience in OT security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, and system hardening.Good understanding of industrial network architecture, Industrial Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, firewall policy management, and network segmentation.Basic knowledge of ISA/IEC 62443, Purdue Model, NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF), OT asset management, and OT risk assessments.Familiarity with Windows Server Administration, Active Directory, and patch management.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Educational Qualification Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related discipline.Certifications such as ISA/IEC 62443, GICSP, Fortinet NSE/FCP, Nozomi Networks, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent OT/Cybersecurity certifications will be an added advantage but not mandatory.
