About the role
Role: Banking Subject Matter Expert Immediate Joiners Only Location: Chennai Work Mode: Work from Office Experience Range: 1015+ years About Us AQM Technologies, founded in 2000, is a leading Mumbai-based IT services company specializing in software testing solutions for the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector. We are trusted by top financial institutions for delivering digital, functional, security, and performance testing services. Key Responsibilities Domain expertise in banking operations, processes, and systems to support functional testing of applications.Collaborate with QA teams to design, review, and validate test cases based on banking workflows.Identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities in banking application functionality.Act as a Subject Matter Expert for banking domain knowledge across projects.Mentor and guide junior team members on banking processes and compliance requirements.Participate in SIT and UAT cycles for banking applications and integration testing.Support production issues, change requests, and enhancements post-go-live.Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and knowledge sharing within the QA team.Collaborate with stakeholders including business analysts, developers, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of testing cycles. Required Skills & Qualifications Education:B.E / B.Tech (any stream) OR MSc(IT) / MCA from a recognized university approved by AICTE.Candidates with BSc/MSc/BCom/BA (other streams) will also be considered if they have 15+ years of banking experience.Certifications:CAIIB / JAIIB / DBF from IIBF. Experience Criteria Minimum 10+ years of experience in functional testing of banking applications/systems.OR 15+ years of experience in banking operations/domain expertise (testing training will be provided). Desired Skills Strong understanding of core banking processes (retail, corporate, payments, lending, compliance).Ability to translate operational workflows into functional test scenarios.
