Software Tester - SWIFT Payments

As a Software Tester specializing in international payments at AQM Technologies, you will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Manual and functional testing of international payment applications, specifically focusing on SWIFT, MT, and MX message formats. - Validation of payment workflows for cross-border transactions, remittances, and settlement processes. - Analysis and testing for compliance with global payment standards and regulatory requirements. - Designing and executing test cases, reporting defects, and tracking resolution using test management tools like JIRA, QC, or similar. - Ensuring traceability between requirements, test scenarios, test cases, and defects for complete coverage. - Participation in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles for payment systems and integration testing. - Supporting production issues, change requests, and enhancements post-go-live. - Applying domain expertise in SWIFT messaging validation, reconciliation, and compliance reporting. - Contributing to documentation, process improvements, and knowledge sharing within the QA team. - Collaborating with stakeholders such as business analysts, developers, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of testing cycles. Qualifications Required: - 2-6 years of experience in software testing with a focus on international payments. - Strong understanding of SWIFT payments, MT/MX message formats, and cross-border transaction flows. - Hands-on experience with software testing concepts, defect lifecycle, and test management tools. - Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams, with a focus on quality assurance.
