About the role
We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer to join our team in the General Insurance domain, specifically in Motor, Travel, Fire, and Engineering insurance. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in core software testing. Roles and Responsibility Design and develop test cases for various insurance products. Create requirement traceability matrices for tests designed. Select suitable test cases for automation considering automation criteria. Perform SIT and UAT test execution. Report defects and follow up with developers and BA/IT for defect fixation and tracking SLA. Develop scenarios and derive test cases from them. Job Requirements Minimum 2-4 years of experience in core software testing. Proficient in writing SQL queries, databases, and running basic SQL queries. Hands-on experience with Test Management tools like Quality Center and Defect Management tools like JIRA or Bugzilla. Good verbal and written communication skills along with strong logical thinking. Must be a good learner, self-starter, and a team player. Willingness to travel and work at various customer sites. Preferred exposure in Health Insurance/Motor Insurance/Travel Insurance/Property and Casualty. Any graduate with an IT background.
