About the role
In-Process Checks: Do regular inspections during production to ensure parts meet quality standards at every stage. Job Card Updates: Record inspection results and remarks clearly in job cards for proper traceability. QC Reports: Prepare and maintain inspection reports in standard formats for audits and reviews. Vendor Inspections: Inspect materials at vendor sites when required and create approval reports. Machine-Wise Checks: Conduct machine-specific inspections and keep proper records for quality tracking. Reduce Rejections: Identify recurring issues and take steps to reduce rejections in production and incoming materials. Support CAPA Tools: Help in corrective and preventive actions and apply tools like 7 QC, 5S, and Kaizen. Continuous Improvement: Suggest and support improvements to make shop floor processes more efficient. Lean Practices: Follow lean manufacturing to reduce waste and improve quality. Non-Conformance: Report quality deviations and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action
