Senior Business System Analyst SAP FTM

Seeking a senior SAP Finance / Finance-to-Manage (FTM) Business Analyst to support SAP FI/CO processes, including process analysis, solution design, SAP configuration, rollouts, and production support. The role works with Finance stakeholders and SAP teams to deliver practical solutions, improve recurring process issues, and support S/4HANA-related activities. Support day-to-day SAP FI/CO process topics for global business users, initially with a focus on the APAC region. Analyze business requirements, process gaps, and incidents, and translate them into practical SAP solutions. Perform handson SAP configuration in FI/CO and related Finance processes. Prepare functional specifications, process flows, test scripts, training materials, and solution documentation. Support SAP implementations, rollouts, enhancements, testing, and production support. Work closely with Finance users to clarify requirements, validate solutions, and support user training. Collaborate with ABAP developers, integration teams, BASIS teams, and other SAP functional consultants. Investigate production issues, identify root causes, coordinate fixes, and support escalations when needed. Suggest practical process improvements based on SAP standard functionality and recurring support topics. Support S/4HANArelated activities by assessing process impacts, testing changes, and updating documentation. Coordinate small work packages and follow up on open items across business and IT teams. Share knowledge with the SAP COE and help maintain reusable support and project documentation. Skill Requirements Primary Skills (Must have skills) : 8+ years of handson SAP Finance experience in enterprise or global environments. Strong SAP FI/CO process knowledge across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, Management Accounting, and bankingrelated processes. Handson SAP FI/CO configuration experience, including integration with related Finance processes. Experience in at least three endtoend SAP implementation, rollout, or major deployment projects. Experience supporting enhancements, incidents, production issues, testing, documentation, and user enablement. Able to communicate clearly with Finance users, IT teams, and external partners. Able to work independently, structure open topics, and manage multiple priorities. Integration knowledge with adjacent SAP areas such as MM, SD, CO, Group Reporting, Tax, or Procurement solutions. Secondary Skills: (Good to Have) SAP S/4HANA project experience, for example migration, rollout, or transformation support. Experience with financerelated SAP addons or integrated solutions such as OpenText VIM, HighRadius, BlackLine, FSCM, or payment integrations. Ability to read basic ABAP logic and work with technical teams on issue analysis. Experience in regulated manufacturing or medical device environments. Basic project coordination or process improvement experience. Qualifications and Education Requirements Masters degree preferred. SAP Finance or S/4HANA Finance certification is a plus. Additional Notes (if any) Senior individualcontributor role within the SAP COE. Works in a crossfunctional setup with Finance users, IT teams, and external partners. Requires a structured, selfdriven working style with clear ownership of assigned topics. Limited travel may be required for project phases, workshops, or business support. Hybrid working model based in Pune, with onsite presence and remote work flexibility. Initial focus is on APAC support, with possible expansion to additional regions over time.
