Microsoft Fabric Solutions Architect Position Title: Microsoft Fabric Solutions Architect Location: Multiple Locations (Hybrid/Remote) Employment Type: Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric Solutions Architect to lead the technical design and execution of enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric implementations. This role involves guiding organizations through complex migrations from legacy data platforms to modern cloud-native architectures while ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and implement end-to-end Microsoft Fabric architectures, including OneLake, lakehouses, data warehouses, pipelines, and Power BI semantic models Conduct technical discovery and assessments of legacy data platforms such as Teradata, SQL Server, Synapse, and HDInsight Develop migration strategies, roadmaps, wave plans, and cost-benefit analyses for enterprise customers Establish governance models, security frameworks, and data access policies within Fabric environments Provide technical leadership to delivery teams throughout migration projects Develop reusable reference architectures and best practices for future implementations Present technical strategies to customer leadership, including CDOs and Heads of Data Support sales teams with technical scoping, estimations, and proposal creation Required Qualifications 10+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering 3+ years of experience with Azure data services Deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI Experience migrating enterprise data warehouses from platforms like Teradata, Oracle Exadata, or Netezza Strong knowledge of OneLake, Delta Lake, and lakehouse design principles Experience with legacy ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, or DataStage Microsoft Fabric certification or equivalent Strong client-facing and executive communication skills Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Azure consumption models and PAC tracking Consulting or professional services experience Cross-industry experience in sectors such as healthcare, banking, or hospitality Familiarity with AI/ML workloads and Copilot Studio integration
