About the Role We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a FHIR API Validation Specialist. This role involves validating FHIR-based APIs and workflows for compliance with FHIR R4 and implementation guides, as well as designing and executing interoperability test scenarios across payer-provider systems. Job Title FHIR API Validation Specialist Responsibilities Design and execute interoperability test scenarios and test cases. Perform end-to-end testing of prior authorization and utilization management workflows. Validate data quality, terminology bindings, and profile conformance. Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams within a US healthcare payer environment. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and improve first-pass success rates. Design and develop all QA artifacts. Required Skills Strong knowledge of FHIR standard (R4), REST APIs, and healthcare interoperability. Experience with Utilization Management / Prior Authorization workflows/EDI X12 278. Familiarity with US healthcare payer systems. Expertise in API testing and tools such as Postman, SOAP UI, etc. Desirable Skills Experience with Utilization Management / Prior Authorization workflows/EDI X12 278. Familiarity with US healthcare payer systems. Education Qualification Relevant educational background in healthcare, IT, or related field.
