Selenium Java SDET

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver. Develop and enhance scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks. Create, execute, and maintain automated regression and functional test suites. Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Rest Assured. Validate backend data using SQL queries and database testing techniques. Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for timely resolution. Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, and automation strategy discussions. Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders. Continuously improve automation coverage and framework efficiency. Required Skills Strong programming skills in Java . Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver . Experience in developing and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks (Page Object Model, Data-Driven, Hybrid, Keyword-Driven, etc.). Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools. Good knowledge of SQL for database validation and backend testing. Experience with TestNG or JUnit . Knowledge of Maven/Gradle for build management. Experience with Git for version control. Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as JIRA . Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
