About the role
We are looking for L3 / Team Leader positions for Machine Building and Automation projects in Bengaluru. 10-14 years of experience in Machine Building and Automation Field (Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics) Roles & Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Project Scoping Requirement Validation: Review sales handovers to eliminate technical scope gaps. Concept Engineering: Co-develop automation machine concepts with the mechanical team. Technical Authority: Leverage deep controls expertise for rapid architectural decisions. Component Sourcing: Evaluate and select PLCs, robots, vision systems, and servos. Vendor Management: Conduct trials with manufacturers to balance technical and commercial goals. Team Management & Execution Resource Leadership: Guide a team of 3+ controls design engineers. Project Monitoring: Track daily tasks, project costs, and manday utilization. Process Compliance: Enforce team adherence to internal engineering workflows. Problem Solving: Unblock team technical issues without risking budget or timelines. Milestone Engineering Documentation Design Gateways: Deliver PDRN (Preliminary) and CDRN (Conceptual) design notices on time. Automation Mapping: Draft and finalize the DAP (Design Automation Plan) blueprint. Production Deliverables: Complete electrical circuits, routing layouts, and machine ballooning. Final Documentation: Secure timely completion of technical manuals and engineering dossiers. Stakeholder Alignment & Integration Customer Approvals: Lead customer reviews for DAP approval and machine acceptance criteria. Cross-Functional Sync: Coordinate with purchase, assembly, and project management to resolve gaps. Software Briefing: Explain SOPs, robotics, vision, and load cell logic to programmers. Handover Readiness: Provide finalized documentation packages to the software and assembly teams.
