Job Location and ShiftThis role is based in Bengaluru or Mumbai, India, supporting 24x7 operations. Role OverviewWe are searching for a seasoned Network & Security Operations Lead to spearhead a team managing enterprise network and security infrastructure. The candidate will have extensive expertise with Fortinet Firewalls, Akamai Web Application Firewall (WAF), Check Point technologies, Server Load Balancers, and Zscaler Proxy. This technical leadership role involves managing escalations, enhancing operational processes, and ensuring compliance with security and service level agreements in a managed services setting. Primary ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor a team of network and security engineers in 24x7 support operations.Organize shift planning, resource allocation, and conflict resolution within the team.Handle technical escalation support and promote continual service improvements.Authorize firewall requests and uphold security protocols across Fortinet, Check Point, Akamai WAF, Zscaler, and Load Balancers.Investigate and manage security incidents, implementing mitigation strategies.Ensure monitoring of security alerts and malware incidents meets SLAs.Drive closure of risk assessment findings and support audit readiness including ISO, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests.Validate change requests and oversee timely submission of operational reports and dashboards.Participate in customer engagements, including proof of concepts and technology recommendations.Maintain and improve operational documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge bases.Oversee platform changes and reports related to Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Windows patch management aligning with security standards.Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related disciplines.At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security roles.Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams.In-depth knowledge of enterprise network security architectures and managed services operations.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Preferred CertificationsFortinet NSE CertificationsCheck Point CCSA or CCSEAkamai and Zscaler Security CertificationsCCNP Security or Cisco CertificationsITIL FoundationCISSP, CISM, or other advanced security certifications are desirableDesired Skills and AttributesLead teams effectively in a high-pressure, 24x7 operations environment.Manage critical incidents and support escalation resolution.Strong strategic thinker with a hands-on technical approach.Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving capabilities.Committed to driving continuous operational excellence and SLA compliance.EligibilityApplicants must hold at least a graduate degree. ResponsibilitiesLead and mentor network and security engineers in 24x7 support operations.Coordinate shift rosters, resource planning, and resolve team conflicts.Handle escalation support and promote service improvements.Approve firewall requests and maintain security configurations for Fortinet, Check Point, Akamai WAF, Zscaler, and Load Balancers.Investigate security incidents and enforce preventive controls.Monitor security alerts and ensure SLA adherence.Drive closure of risk assessments and support audit and penetration testing compliance.Validate change requests and manage operational reporting.Engage with customers during POCs and provide security technology advice.Enhance SOPs and maintain technical documentation.Oversee platform changes for Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and patch management. RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field.Minimum 10 years in IT infrastructure and security roles.At least 5 years of leadership experience managing technical teams.Strong knowledge of enterprise network security and managed services operations.Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.Preferably certified in Fortinet NSE, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, Akamai and Zscaler Security Certifications, CCNP Security, ITIL, CISSP or CISM. .
