Sr. Oracle DBA, RAC, PostgreSQL

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with 810 years of experience in Oracle database administration and a proven track record in supporting enterprise-grade systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience managing Oracle RAC and Data Guard setups, performance tuning expertise, and experience with GoldenGate. Exposure to PostgreSQL or MySQL is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities: Own, track, and resolve database-related incidents and service requests within defined SLAs. Monitor and review daily reports (e.g., database backups, maintenance jobs, system health checks) to proactively identify and address issues. Respond promptly to alerts, escalation requests, and performance issues. Implement strategic solutions to prevent recurring database problems. Perform routine and ad-hoc performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases. Manage and support Oracle RAC and Data Guard configurations in production and DR environments. Maintain and operate Oracle GoldenGate replication setups (minimum 2 years experience). Provide support for PostgreSQL or MySQL database systems (minimum 23 years experience). Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients on the status of requests and issues. Escalate unresolved problems proactively and manage incidents through to resolution. Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
