Team Leader Digital IC Design

As a Team Leader in Digital IC Design, your main role is to lead a digital design team and coordinate activities in Bangalore related to digital IC design. You will be responsible for ensuring that technical, commercial, and quality requirements of projects are met. Your tasks will involve disciplinary team guidance, coordinating resources, processes, methods, and tools for the Bangalore digital team. Additionally, you will set up project plans, define work-packages for the team, evaluate technical and development risks, track design progress, and conduct milestone reviews. Key Responsibilities: - Provide disciplinary team guidance - Coordinate Bangalore digital team activities including resources, processes, methods, and tools - Set up project plans and define work-packages for the team - Evaluate technical and development risks with the IC developer - Track design progress and report discrepancies - Conduct milestone reviews and report results to customers and management - Acquire new digital projects - Review verification documents and apply configuration and change management - Implement improvements in digital IC development processes, methodology, and tools - Lead strategic planning, cross-functional alignment, budget management, and proactive problem-solving - Foster an innovation culture within the team - Lead efficiency initiatives within the digital design and verification team Qualifications Required: - Master of Science in Electrical Engineering or similar qualification - 12+ years of experience in leadership and digital design for automotive product development - Proven experience in digital design development processes and methods for ASIC & FPGA implementation - Leadership experience as a group or program manager - 10+ years of experience in IC digital design and verification - Familiarity with IC design/synthesis tools and office tools - Knowledge of IPs such as SPI, I2C, HDMI, RSDS, OpenLdi, PSI5, Ethernet, CAN - Proficiency in VHDL, Verilog, UVM test methodology, System Verilog, and SystemC Skills Required: - Leadership abilities - Initiative and proactive decision-making - Strong analytical skills - Self-organization - Effective communication skills - Customer focus - Motivation and inspiration - Team player with strong teamwork skills Note: This job requires a candidate with a strong background in digital IC design and a proven track record in leadership and project management within the automotive industry.
