About the role
Job Title: Assistant Manager – Power Transmission Design
Location: Noida
Key Responsibilities:
Design and engineering of transmission lines, substations, poles and transmission towers.
Perform pole design and tower design , including structural loading, foundation requirements, spotting and configuration.
Prepare and review SLDs, tower/pole layouts, route profiles, technical specifications, BOQs and design calculations.
Conduct conductor selection, sag–tension calculations, cable sizing, load-flow, short-circuit and protection coordination studies.
Review tower and pole structural drawings, vendor drawings and foundation designs.
Coordinate with project, procurement, construction, vendors and consultants for timely project execution.
Ensure designs comply with CEA, IS, IEC and applicable grid standards.
Provide technical support during construction, testing and commissioning.
Qualification & Experience:
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
5–8 years of experience in transmission-line, pole, tower or substation design.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant transmission-design software.
Experience in renewable-energy or EPC projects will be preferred.
