Senior SAP IBP (Order Based Planning) Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP IBP Order Based Planning (OBP) Consultant / Solution Lead to lead the design and implementation of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions as part of a large-scale global SAP Supply Chain transformation program. The role requires strong functional expertise in SAP IBP, Order-Based Planning (OBP), and integration with SAP S/4HANA, working closely with global business stakeholders and cross-functional teams. Location : India (REMOTE) Type : Contract (6 months -extendable) Experience : 10+ years Shift : EU - 12 Pm to 9pm IST - Remote Requirements 7+ years of SAP implementation experience with strong exposure to Supply Chain Planning. Hands-on experience in SAP IBP implementation , particularly Order-Based Planning (OBP) . Experience across multiple phases of SAP implementation projects, including blueprint, realization, testing, deployment, and support. Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning business processes . Experience with SAP APO and/or SAP IBP implementations. Expertise in SAP IBP integration with SAP S/4HANA , including Real-Time Integration (RTI) . Experience with SAP IBP reporting and interface integration. Knowledge of the OBP Optimizer is highly desirable. Strong understanding of complex supply chain planning scenarios and system integrations. Experience working with distributed global teams in remote delivery environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Responsibilities Lead the solution design and implementation of SAP IBP Order-Based Planning (OBP) . Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into scalable SAP IBP solutions. Configure and implement SAP IBP modules with a focus on Order-Based Planning (OBP) and Response & Supply Planning . Design and support integration between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA , including Real-Time Integration (RTI). Collaborate with business users, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end supply chain planning solutions. Participate in all phases of SAP implementation, including workshops, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare. Support data validation, integration testing, reporting, and interface design across the SAP landscape. Drive best practices, solution governance, and process standardization for global supply chain planning. Troubleshoot complex planning and integration issues and provide effective solutions. Work closely with international and remote teams while managing stakeholder expectations. Support knowledge transfer, documentation, and user enablement activities. Contribute to future SAP template rollouts and supply chain transformation initiatives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
