Senior Product Designer

Role Overview: As a Senior Product Designer at Azuga, you will play a crucial role in creating user-centered product experiences for telematics customers. Your responsibilities will include owning the design direction for your team's product area, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading design initiatives from concept to launch. You will need to leverage your deep user research skills, storytelling abilities, and design expertise to shape product strategy and deliver impactful design solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Own the end-to-end design for your team's product area, delivering high-quality work autonomously with minimal oversight. - Build confidence and momentum in product direction through strong design thinking, research insights, and clear communication. - Synthesize research findings into clear product opportunities and design directions. - Develop a strong understanding of customers, competitors, and the broader product landscape. - Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to bring features and experiences to market successfully. - Produce thoughtful designs that are simple, intuitive, and visually refined, setting a high quality standard for the product. - Build interactive prototypes to validate ideas and communicate product behavior. - Contribute to enhancing design processes, research practices, and team collaboration. Qualifications: - 3+ years of relevant product design experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Strong experience in conducting and synthesizing qualitative and quantitative user research. - Great attention to detail for visual craft, including composition, typography, and layout. - Proven ability to tell compelling product stories through research, design artifacts, and prototypes. - Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional product and engineering teams. - High proficiency in Figma, including design tokens and variables, advanced auto layout & constraints.
