About the role
Role & responsibilities Prepare the Single Line Diagram (SLD) for the site electrical system Carry out total connected load and demand load calculations to finalize power source capacity Ensure proper earthing, lightning protection , and power distribution systems Ensure proper earthing systems, including periodic testing and record maintenance Conduct RCCB / ELCB testing at regular intervals and maintain test records Verify safety devices such as limit s witches, overload protection , emergency stops etc Attend electrical breakdowns and ensure minimum downtime Supervise electrical foremen, electricians, and helpers Coordinate with mechanical and P&M teams for power planning Maintain machinery records, logbooks . Record/Inventory for Plant & Machinery available at site. Prepare daily, weekly , and monthly P&M reports Train supervisors and operators on best practices and safety awareness
