AVP- Engineering (Frontend Heavy)

You will be responsible for leading architecture, engineering excellence, and delivery of scalable web applications as an AVP Engineering (Frontend) at our company. Your main responsibilities will include: - Leading frontend architecture and technical strategy. - Building and scaling high-performance React-based applications. - Driving engineering best practices, code quality, and performance optimization. - Mentoring and growing Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, and Frontend Engineers. - Overseeing end-to-end delivery across multiple frontend teams. - Collaborating with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to ensure exceptional user experiences. To qualify for this role, you should possess the following skills: - 1015 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in engineering leadership. - Strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Next.js, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend architecture. - Experience with Micro Frontends, Design Systems, REST APIs/GraphQL, CI/CD, and Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). - Proven experience in building scalable, high-traffic consumer or enterprise applications. - Strong people management, stakeholder management, and execution skills. Candidates from Product-based companies, especially in industries like Gaming, FinTech, E-commerce, SaaS, Consumer Internet, or OTT, with experience leading teams of 20+ engineers and driving frontend engineering at scale are preferred.
