About the role
Role Overview: You are an experienced SDET III Automation at Baazi Games, responsible for driving end-to-end test automation, enhancing release quality, and developing scalable automation solutions. Your role involves leveraging strong programming skills, automation expertise, and close collaboration with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to achieve these objectives. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, API, and Mobile applications. - Create robust automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Develop reusable automation utilities and testing libraries. - Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC. - Review requirements and participate in technical design discussions to ensure testability. - Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. - Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and contribute to quality improvements. - Drive automation best practices, coding standards, and test strategy. - Mentor junior QA/SDET engineers on automation frameworks and engineering best practices. - Continuously enhance test coverage, execution time, and framework stability. Qualifications Required: - 58 years of experience in QA Automation / Software Development in Test. - Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript. - Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium. - Strong expertise in API Automation using Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools. - Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. - Sound knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms fundamentals. - Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases. - Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
