About the role
Hiring: Staff Data Scientist (AI/ML) Location: Gurugram, India (Hybrid) Experience: 7--10 Years Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for an experienced Staff Data Scientist to lead the development and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions that solve complex business challenges. This role involves working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to design, build, and operationalize scalable data science solutions while leveraging modern AI technologies , including Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs). Key Responsibilities Translate business and stakeholder requirements into AI and data science solutions. Identify and evaluate opportunities where machine learning can create measurable business impact. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions. Present analytical findings and technical recommendations to business stakeholders. Apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems. Automate data preparation, feature engineering, model training, and monitoring pipelines. Explore and implement Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) for analytics, reporting, and knowledge discovery. Partner with engineering teams to deploy, scale, and maintain production-ready ML models. Monitor model performance and implement automated retraining and alerting mechanisms. Manage assigned deliverables independently while proactively identifying and communicating project risks. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline. Master's degree or PhD is preferred. 710 years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI. Expert-level proficiency in Python or another programming language commonly used for AI and Data Science. Strong experience building and deploying machine learning solutions. Familiarity with cloud-native AI and analytics platforms, including Azure ecosystem, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, distributed computing, data storage, and Infrastructure as Code concepts. Preferred Skills Experience with at least two of the following: Time Series Forecasting Classification Computer Vision Predictive Modeling Strong understanding of statistical methods and selecting appropriate techniques for different business problems. Experience creating insightful visualizations such as correlation heatmaps, bubble charts, and interactive dashboards. Business and financial acumen with the ability to quantify project impact. Experience with AI automation platforms and MLOps practices. Microsoft Azure or Microsoft Fabric AI/Data Science certifications are a plus.
