About the role
Roles and Responsibilities : 1. Ensure availability of capacity at vendor end to fulfill the required components as per plan. 2. Study and enhance vendor capacity for higher / existing volume for existing / new models 3. Plan and execute outsourcing activity as per management guidelines. 4. Monitor Inventory and control within management norms 5. Manage store’s function 6. Monitor transport cost of vendor material and target to reduce by applying various techniques 7. Effective communication with the people down the level and people above. 8. Tracking daily, weekly & monthly KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement or more efficient in PPC. 9. Purchase request preparation. 10. Cycle Time study of PPC movement. BOM Related Knowledge Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource allocation, reduce costs, and improve efficiency. Analyze data from SAP systems to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of excellence in production planning and control processes. Ensure accurate inventory management by monitoring stock levels, tracking materials flow, and implementing effective storage solutions. Job Requirements : 3-9 years of experience in PPC (Production Planning & Control) or related field. Strong understanding of BOM preparation, capacity planning, sheet metal manufacturing processes. Proficiency in using SAP systems for inventory control and production planning purposes.
