Engineer 1/2/Sr - Supply (Thermal Generation Engineer)

This is a multi-level posting. Candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels, depending on education, years of experience and depth of expertise. Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution. Zero-one year of industry experience as a practicing engineer. Electrical engineering degree preferred. One-three of industry experience as a practicing engineer required for the engineer 2. Five years of industry experience as a practicing engineer, and must be a licensed PE. If no PE license then must have eight or more years as a practicing engineer required for the senior engineer. High level of technical knowledge, judgment and capability in the engineering discipline. Effective communicator with technical and managerial personnel within and external to MidAmerican Energy Company. Broad analytical skills. Advanced project management skills. Effective oral and written communication skills. Effective analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
