About the role
Essential Education, Skills, and Environment EAC/ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree or a Board approved equivalent and eight years of survey experience. Candidates that do not possess a degree must have a minimum of 12 years of related work experience as a Land Technician or similar capacity. Registration as a Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Nevada is required or must be obtained within twelve (12) months of hire date. Specialized Knowledge and Skills Demonstrated knowledge of: NRS 265 and 278 laws, surveying methods, calculations, earthwork, volumetric, and engineering practices. Demonstrated skills such as: Analytical, interpersonal and communication. Interpreting construction engineering plans, mapping, and in establishing positive relationships with internal and external customers. Equipment and Applications PCs, word processing, spreadsheet and database software. Work Environment and Physical Demands General office environment. No special physical demands required. Some travel may be required. Depending on qualifications of applicants, this position may be filled at a lower level.
