About the role
You will be responsible for developing new features and functionality for various mechanical and chemical processes. This includes formulating mathematical models, implementing them on simulation software, and maintaining a library of process unit operations. Your primary goal will be to deliver high-quality products, being involved in the entire product development life cycle from idea inception to customer feedback. Additionally, you will interface with internal and external stakeholders throughout the development life cycle. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new features and functionality for mechanical and chemical processes - Formulate mathematical models and implement them on simulation software - Maintain a library of process unit operations - Deliver top-notch quality products - Be involved in the entire product development life cycle - Interface with internal and external stakeholders Qualifications Required: - Bachelors/Masters in chemical or mechanical engineering with 5-10 years of prior work experience in developing system simulation - Strong fundamentals in Chemical Mechanical Engineering first principles modeling - Hands-on experience in mathematical formulation of unit operations and numerical methods - Knowledge of Column Distillation, Boilers, Heat Exchanger, Pumps, Fans, Compressor, Turbine, Conveying systems, Reaction and Reactor Simulation - Proficiency in object-oriented programming, preferably in C++ or Python - Experience with simulation tools like Aspen Plus, GT-SUITE, HYSYS, or Simulink - Ability to learn and share skills, with a customer-first mindset This job posting has been aggregated from an external source.
