About the role
About The Role As a SoC Functional Validation Engineer , you will be responsible for functional validation and bring-up of advanced SoC platforms across pre-silicon and post-silicon environments. This role involves hands-on debugging, test development, and collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines. This is a 6-month contract role with a strong possibility of extension. Key Responsibilities Perform functional validation of new SoC designs featuring high-end ARM processors. Execute SoC bring-up and validation of key interfaces including: LPDDR, Ethernet, PCIe, HBM CPUs and Coherent Mesh Low-speed IOs (UART, I2C, I3C, SPI) Develop and execute bare-metal C test cases. Debug and validate designs using FPGA HAPS / Zebu emulation platforms, followed by silicon-based target hardware. Design and implement test infrastructure to support SoC validation activities. Collaborate with Architects, RTL Verification, Electrical Testing & Characterization, and Production Firmware teams throughout the validation lifecycle. Essential Skills Strong proficiency in Embedded C programming. Hands-on experience with ARM high-end CPUs and cache-coherent interconnect protocols. Experience with high-speed interfaces and protocols such as: PCIe Gen6 Die-to-die links LPDDR5 HBM3 Proven experience in pre-silicon and post-silicon SoC validation environments. Desirable Skills Python scripting for automation and test support. Experience with Silicon SoC bring-up. Development of high-speed interface device drivers. Candidate Requirements Candidates must provide a self-rating for the required technical skills. Please clearly mention relevant projects that align closely with this role and responsibilities. What We Offer Challenging Work: Be part of cutting-edge SoC validation programs for a leading semiconductor client. Contract Opportunity: 6-month contract with strong potential for extension. High-Impact Role: Opportunity to work on next-generation ARM-based SoC platforms. Interview Process The interview process will typically include: One or two rounds of technical interviews A final project or stakeholder discussion, if required How To Apply If you are an experienced SoC Functional Validation Engineer with strong ARM and high-speed interface validation experience, we'd love to hear from you.
