Sr Field Engineer

As a Senior Field Engineer at our fast-growing organization, your role will involve leading field deployments, system integration, testing, and customer support for advanced defence communication and surveillance systems. You will be responsible for managing a team of engineers, executing TECs, demonstrations, and PoCs, and working closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful deployment and operational performance of mission-critical defence solutions across India. Responsibilities: - Team Leadership & Field Operations - Lead and manage a field team of engineers, while planning and executing field deployments, installations, commissioning, and testing activities. - Coordinate field activities with customers, internal engineering teams, and project stakeholders. - Ensure timely resolution of technical issues during field operations. - System Integration & Engineering - Lead integration, testing, and deployment of advanced defence communication and surveillance systems. - Support analog-to-digital conversion and modernization projects. - Manage integration with AI-enabled systems and emerging defence technologies. - Perform configuration, troubleshooting, validation, and acceptance testing of tactical communication equipment. - Provide technical guidance and support during product development and deployment activities. - Customer Engagement & Demonstrations - Lead Technical Evaluation Committee (TEC) activities, product demonstrations, and Proof of Concept (PoC) trials. - Interface with defence customers and end users during evaluations and field trials. - Conduct technical presentations, system demonstrations, and user training programs. - Support business development and pre-sales activities through technical expertise. - Defence Platform Exposure - Gain hands-on experience working with: Armoured Vehicles, Surveillance Vehicles, Radar Systems, Interceptor Platforms, Tactical Communication Systems, AI-enabled Defence Systems, Autonomous & Next-Generation Battlefield Technologies. - Field Deployment & Travel - Travel extensively across India for TECs, demonstrations, PoCs, trials, installations, and customer support activities. - Participate in field trials and operational deployments with defence users. - Support acceptance testing, commissioning, and post-deployment technical support. Qualifications: - Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) / Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics & Communication.
