Job Description: Cloud Platform Engineer Technical Lead (Exp: 8- 12 years) We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team as Technical Lead, who plays a critical role in maintaining Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, homemade middleware.) in a proactive way, doing level 3 support, building the DR solutions. The role ensures Azure platform performance, stability, and reliability for Supply Chain applications: monitoring systems, resolving L3 issues, cost optimization and addressing critical incidents to support seamless operations. The security is also a main pilar: windows updates, AD, vulnerabilities management Contributing to the platform domain in full autonomy (possibly on call support). By giving technical advises to application members and promoting best practices, the cloud platform engineer fosters a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, aligning the platform usage with application objectives and long-term architecture goals. Requirements: Masters degree in IT or a related technical field 6-8 years of experience in a similar position mandatory Proactive, innovative, curious, and bold, with a willingness to understand, challenge, and support business needs Excellent team spirit and strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken) Interest in working in a multicultural environment Enthusiasm for a fast-paced, collaborative, and learning-oriented environment Motivation to grow professionally within a flexible and dynamic IT team Experience in application development is a plus Azure Cloud: IaaS, PaaS, all layers (network, storage, disks,) Windows Server, Linux Kubernetes Data backup, recovery, security, integrity using cloud platform Automation and scripting skills (Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell) Distributed systems management concepts, networking Azure active directory Experience working in production (crisis, major incident,) Roles & Responsibilities: IaaS, PaaS evolution and maintenance Administer and act as an expert for IaaS, PaaS, homemade middlewares, software packages on Azure (VM, cluster, DB, load balancing, Kubernetes.) Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of services running on Azure. Understand all layers related to Azure (PaaS, network, storage, compute.) Installation of software applications and maintenance Performance monitoring and incident resolution Monitor and optimize platform performance for Supply Chain (SC) applications. Resolve L3 issues and critical incidents, ensuring minimal downtime (for our main mission critical applications and others). Participate in task forces to address performance issues and implement long-term fixes. Strictly optimise cCosts optimization Automation Infra as Code (terraform, Ansible.) CI/CD Scripting software-defined infrastructure Security Window updates management thru Azure portal AD permissions Threats and vulnerabilities remediations Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with organizational standards Disaster recovery, Backup, restoration Manage the DR for our mission critical applications in priority and others Design and maintain the solution in IaC to meet RTO, RPO Collaboration and support Work closely with platform teams, architects, and developers Policy and standards enforcement Automate operational tasks and improve incident response processes.
