Job Description: SAP Basis Expert – Manager (Exp: 10 Years to 15 Years) We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Expert as a manager with 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure as a SAP Basis role with SAP ECC and S/4 Hana environments, with the following Databases: HANA DB/Oracle/ASE/AIX/Linux; working in close collaboration and deep partnership with the rest of IT teams (internal and external). Experience should have 10 Years to 15 Years of SAP Basis. SAP system installations with multiple versions S/4 Hana ECC Java Installing, maintaining and tuning Oracle, Sybase & HANA databases Experience with Linux / AIX operating systems SAP System copies SAP and DB upgrades SAP RISE migration experience EHP-SPS installations/ release upgrades, conversions to S/4HANA Experience with different types of hosting models (for example: SAAS, PAAS in private cloud and public cloud hosting. Experience in ABAP and Java environments (ECC, BW, SCM, Solution Manager, CRM, BO, PO, Portal. Knowledge in ABAP development to support application teams including in performance tuning of applications. Change management across multiple teams. The candidate should have previous experience in similar projects where the change management part has been a critical success factor (in particular in SOx environments with multiple stakeholders involved). Use of ticketing tools: SNOW, SOLMAN. Good knowledge of ITGC controls and SOx principles. Ability to solving complex problems in short timeframes. Excellent analytical skills. Manage and maintain critical systems availability according to stablished SLAs Excellent process skills Follow Enhance Develop new PMI/Agile project management skills a plus. Roles & Responsibility Support several Application teams for Basis administration of critical SAP landscapes Implement new demands Support migrations and upgrades Migration to public Cloud Upgrades (SPS management, DB upgrades, Upgrades to Hana, Kernel upgrades) Printer Implementation and support Support SAP on Azure Diagnose and solve complex problems Practical knowledge on all basis related tasks SAP Security Evaluate and implement Basis related SAP Security Notes and SAP Hot news on a monthly Basis Support Application periodic release cycles Perform/support system refreshes (system copies) System performance tuning, including supporting Application teams tuning of Jobs and inhouse ABAP code Evaluate and change Hana DB optimization for critical and high consuming queries Manage performance of copied production environments to smaller HW Implement archiving Tune systems with large Hana DBs to run on smaller HW Clean up Hana DBs after system copies Monitoring Daily system monitoring (Application server/DB Server issues, Dump analysis, Update error analysis) Periodic evaluation of EWAs, including performance related issues Work with internal and external teams to fix issues reported by EWAs Incidents Manage Incidents, Problems and Demands from application teams Support SAP web dispatchers SAP Java systems SAP PI/PO systems Business Objects Content Server TREX Livecache APO Support connectivity to SAP systems RFCs, Web services, SSO IDOcs and interfaces to other systems Connectivity to SAP Cloud services, including secure SAP BTP services To and from SAP Cloud Manage Security Requirements For SAP Systems Enhance and implement security requirements Design secure architectures for new demands Manage and support SAP GUI implementation and SAP Logon XML configurations Manage user and authorizations on HANA database Work on a SOx environment and follow SOx processes SOx ITGC knowledge required Sap Archiving Implement and manage SAP Archiving App support Support Application teams with architecture design from infrastructure/Basis perspective. Support AD-hoc SOX requirements.
