Network Engineer

Subcontractor Area(s) of responsibility JD for Network requirement Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to the networking components of the J.D. Irving Limited infrastructure. Act as an escalation point and coordinate with vendors and external technical resources to effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues. Serve as the networking subject matter expert on a wide range of internal and customerfacing technology projects, ensuring alignment with organizational standards. Optimize existing systems for performance and capacity, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Research, understand, and implement networking security protocols. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all networking solutions. Lead and oversee daytoday networking activities and contribute to longterm operational planning. Work with tools and technologies such as Azure Networking, Cisco ACI, Cisco Identity Services Engine, Cisco Catalyst, Junos Space, OpManager, CheckPoint, and A10/Netscaler loadbalancing platforms. The more experience with networking in cloud environment the better.
