About the role
Role Overview We are seeking an experienced IT & Network Manager to lead the design, deployment, and management of Intellicars on-premises IT infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring that our systems are reliable, secure, and scalable to support our fast-growing IoT operations. You will own all aspects of IT infrastructure, from hardware and networks to cybersecurity, system administration, and vendor management, ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient business operations. Key Responsibilities IT & Network Infrastructure Management Lead and manage the entire IT and network infrastructure for all Intellicar offices and facilities. Plan, evaluate, procure, install, configure, and maintain all IT and network assets. Oversee LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and VLAN architectures ensuring high availability and security. Configure, monitor, and manage firewalls, switches, routers, and access points. Manage company ISPs, leased lines, and network connectivity for optimal uptime. Security, Compliance & Documentation Define and implement IT security policies in line with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 standards. Own the company’s IT compliance roadmap, leading certification efforts and audits. Maintain updated documentation of IT infrastructure, network topology, and policies. Enforce security controls, access management, and data protection protocols. Systems Administration Manage installation, configuration, and updates for all OS platforms (Windows, Linux, Mac). Oversee centralized OS & software deployment systems (Active Directory, SCCM, etc.). Maintain backups for critical company data (finance, HR, and network logs). Manage software licenses and online subscriptions (Microsoft 365, Adobe, Tally, etc.). Hardware & Device Management Oversee purchase, allocation, and tracking of all hardware and software assets. Maintain and troubleshoot employee workstations, laptops, and peripherals. Manage IT support requests and perform hands-on repairs when required. Maintain biometric systems, access control, CCTV, and storage infrastructure. Vendor & Stakeholder Management Act as the single point of contact for all IT and network vendors. Evaluate vendors, negotiate terms, and establish dual-vendor strategies for business continuity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT operations with organizational goals. Continuous Improvement Research and implement best practices in IT cost optimization and security. Leverage open-source tools wherever feasible to minimize maintenance and licensing costs. Drive automation and proactive monitoring initiatives to enhance reliability and scalability. Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree/ Masters in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 5–10 years of experience managing IT and network infrastructure in a high-growth or tech-driven environment. Proven experience in network architecture, system administration, and cybersecurity. Strong understanding of ISO standards and IT governance best practices. Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of firewall configurations (FortiGate, Cisco, Palo Alto, etc.) Proficiency in VPN, VLAN, and Wi-Fi management for multi-zone networks. Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and backup solutions. Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux, and Mac OS administration. Familiarity with Active Directory, endpoint management, and scripting (PowerShell/Bash). Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
