Test Engineer

Job Title : Test Engineer (Automation). Location : Hyderabad HiTec City (Near to Cyber Towers). Job Mode : Work from Office | Monday to Friday (Morning Shift). Job Summary : We are looking for a skilled and motivated Test Engineer (Automation) to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, with a focus on automation, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products. Key Responsibilities : - Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using testing tools and frameworks. - Design and implement automated test cases for web applications, APIs, and mobile applications. - Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans. - Identify, document, and track software defects in a bug tracking system. - Perform regression testing to ensure previously developed and tested software still performs after a change. - Monitor automated test results, analyze failures, and provide detailed reports on findings. - Continuously improve automation frameworks to support scalability, stability, and reliability. - Participate in code reviews to ensure automation standards are being met. - Provide input on QA best practices, tools, and frameworks to optimize the testing process. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product quality and improve release processes. Requirements : - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on automation (4+ years preferred). - Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. - Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. - Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, Git, or Bamboo. - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Experience testing APIs and using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Preferred qualifications : - Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. - Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments. - ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.
