About the role
As a Quality Test Engineer at Aladdin Engineering, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the top quality and dependability of software products. You will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, from developing and validating Test Cases to collaborating with different teams for successful software releases. Here's a breakdown of what will be expected from you: Key Responsibilities: - Develop, refine, and validate Test Cases meeting User Story acceptance criteria. - Coordinate testing activities across Business and QA teams. - Collaborate closely with software engineers for effective QA processes. - Perform manual and automated testing, including crafting TypeScript scripts for TeamCity pipeline integration. - Utilize Playwright, TypeScript, and Cucumber for test automation. - Conduct API testing and work proactively with the development team. - Apply AI knowledge and demonstrate interest in AI implementation within QA processes. - Conduct basic performance and load testing using JMeter. - Ensure that all software releases align with detailed business expectations. Qualifications: - Proficiency in TypeScript, Playwright, TeamCity (4 to 7 years of experience). - Experience with SQL queries, MongoDB, Snowflake, AWS, and related technologies. - Demonstrated passion for identifying and resolving software issues. - Solid understanding of API development and testing methodologies. - Ability to excel in a dynamic environment, adjust to shifting demands, and consistently grow.
