About the role
Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Conversion Data Business Analyst with strong expertise in Guidewire BillingCenter and Property Casualty (PC) Insurance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in data conversion and migration initiatives, collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure successful transformation of legacy billing and policy data into Guidewire BillingCenter. The candidate should possess solid business analysis capabilities, deep understanding of insurance operations, and experience driving requirement gathering, data mapping, validation, testing, and conversion activities across large-scale transformation programs. Key Responsibilities - Lead business analysis activities for Guidewire BillingCenter data conversion and migration projects. - Collaborate with business users, SMEs, architects, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document business and conversion requirements. - Conduct data discovery, source system analysis, data profiling, and gap assessments. - Define and document data mapping specifications, transformation rules, conversion strategies, and reconciliation requirements. - Facilitate workshops, requirement walkthroughs, and stakeholder review sessions. - Support data quality assessments and identify data cleansing opportunities. - Coordinate conversion testing, validation, reconciliation, and defect management activities. - Work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate migration of billing, policy, customer, and financial data. - Develop business process flows, use cases, functional specifications, and user stories. - Participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. - Support UAT planning, execution, and business sign-off activities. - Create executive-level presentations, status reports, and project documentation for internal and external stakeholders. Required Qualifications - 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within the Property Casualty Insurance domain. - Strong experience in Guidewire BillingCenter (GWBC) implementations, enhancements, or conversion programs. - Proven experience in Data Conversion, Data Migration, Data Mapping, and Data Reconciliation initiatives. - Strong expertise in: - Requirements Gathering Elicitation - Functional Analysis - Data Analysis - Business Process Documentation - Conversion Testing - UAT Support - Defect Management - Experience working with large-scale legacy modernization and Guidewire transformation programs. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
