As a Guidewire Digital Portal Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services and integrations supporting Guidewire Digital Portal solutions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs for Guidewire Digital Portal applications - Creating and maintaining API documentation and technical specifications - Ensuring APIs are scalable, secure, and performant - Developing integrations between Guidewire core applications and external systems - Working with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter integrations - Implementing data exchange and synchronization processes using Guidewire APIs and integration frameworks - Extending and customizing Digital Portal capabilities using Guidewire Edge/API architecture - Collaborating with UI teams to enable seamless frontend-backend interactions - Optimizing application performance and API response times - Following secure coding practices and data protection standards - Troubleshooting production issues and implementing sustainable fixes - Working closely with business analysts, architects, product owners, and development teams - Participating in design reviews, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies Mandatory Skills: - Strong experience with Jutro Development Platform (JDP) - Strong experience in React.js and modern JavaScript development - Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs - Knowledge of Guidewire Digital Portal architecture - Experience working with Guidewire Edge/API services - Strong understanding of backend integration patterns and web services Nice-to-Have Skills: - Integration experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter - Experience with Guidewire Cloud APIs - Exposure to BillingCenter and ClaimCenter integrations - Experience with cloud-native development and microservices architecture Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Strong problem-solving and communication skills As a Guidewire Digital Portal Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services and integrations supporting Guidewire Digital Portal solutions.
