AI Expert (RAG Models & Vertex AI)

Job Title: AI Expert (RAG Models & Vertex AI) Experience: 5+ Years Location: Remote Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI Expert with over 5+ years of experience in end-to-end AI model development. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models, hands-on experience with Vertex AI, and a strong background in MLOps and model deployment. The role demands a professional who can take AI projects from concept to production deployment, ensuring robust, scalable, and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end development of AI models, from defining the scope of work to deployment and monitoring. Design, develop, and implement advanced RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) models for diverse use cases. Leverage Vertex AI for scalable and efficient model training, deployment, and monitoring. Establish and maintain robust MLOps pipelines for continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) of AI models. Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver AI solutions aligned with business goals. Optimize AI models for performance, scalability, and reliability in production environments. Monitor deployed models for accuracy, drift, and performance, and implement updates as needed. Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior team members. Document processes, models, and architectures thoroughly for knowledge sharing and future reference. Key Requirements: 5+ years of hands-on experience in end-to-end AI model development. Proven expertise in building and deploying RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) models . Deep experience with Google Vertex AI for training, deploying, and managing AI models. Strong understanding of MLOps principles and tools for automated deployment and monitoring. Proficiency in Python and frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar. Experience with cloud environments (GCP preferred). Strong understanding of data engineering concepts and experience in working with large datasets. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex AI/ML issues. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a UK shift. Nice to Have: Experience in building and deploying conversational AI solutions. Familiarity with API development and integration for AI services. Knowledge of data privacy and compliance best practices in AI solutions.
