Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BusinessObjects BI Developer/Administrator to support the migration from SAP BusinessObjects BI 4.x to BI 2025 . The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP BO development and administration, with a strong understanding of Web Intelligence, Information Design Tool (IDT), report scheduling, security, and folder management .

Key responsibilities include analyzing existing reports, universes, user groups, and workflows to assess compatibility, validating and testing migrated content, collaborating with stakeholders, troubleshooting issues, and documenting migration processes. Prior experience in BO 4.x migrations is essential.

Required Tools & Technologies: SAP BO 4.2/4.3/BI 2025, WebI, CMC, IDT, UDT, SQL/Oracle databases. SAP BO Administrator certification is preferred.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major upgrade project and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition to the latest BI platform.

Responsibilities

• Support the migration of SAP BusinessObjects BI platform from version 4. to BI 2025

• Analyze existing reports, universes, User groups, security and workflows to assess compatibility and migration needs.

• Validate and test migrated content to ensure accuracy, performance, and user experience.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate changes.

• Troubleshoot issues related to report rendering, scheduling and access in the new environment.

• Document migration processes, testing outcomes and user guides for post-upgrade support.

• Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–10 years of experience in SAP BusinessObjects development and administration.

• Strong knowledge of Web Intelligence and Information Design Tool (IDT). Universe Design Tool (UDT) experience is not mandatory.

• Experience with report scheduling, security setup and folder management.

• Past experience of BO 4.0 to BO 4.1 OR BO 4.1 to BO 4.2 OR BO 4.3 migration is strongly required.

• Understanding of SAP BO 4.3 interface changes, including the new Instances tile and navigation updates.

• Selected applicant will be subject to a background investigation, which will be conducted and the results of which will be used in compliance with applicable law.
